REGENTS CANAL BOAT TRIPS IN CENTRAL LONDON

We operate the Lady A, a small passenger narrowboat based in London's lovely Little Venice, for private parties, so you’ll be the only people onboard apart from our skipper. Little Venice is an easy walk along the canal from Paddington Station as well as our local tube station at Warwick Avenue on the Bakerloo Line.

We are delighted to be able to accommodate up to ten passengers, especially suitable for families and groups of friends.

IDEAL FOR COUPLES TOO!

Two hours or three hours is ideal for a leisurely cruise along the Regents Canal on a route which takes us through the exclusive Maida Vale, Maida Hill tunnel and Lisson Grove before entering Regents Park including a section of ZSL London Zoo where we can sometimes catch a glimpse of the African Hunting Dogs and Monkey Valley, the newest attraction in the zoo.

When we get to Camden we will turn around for the return trip, although one way routes and longer cruises are sometimes available. On trips over two hours we can stop at Camden for a quick look around the Camden Lock Market which is also ideal to pick up some snacks for the trip back.

We can also offer a different route combining Maida Hill tunnel with a trip to Paddington Basin, without Regents Park and London Zoo and avoiding Camden too, or even a complete westbound option to Ladbroke Grove and back. Do ask for more details or simply let us know your preference on the day!

Bring a picnic and some drinks while our professional skipper will be with you to do the boat handing, so all you do is sit back and enjoy the ride, with an optional commentary.

Reduced price rates are available for smaller parties of just one or two making this ideal for that special occasion, or if you're visiting London I can be your tour guide too and share my knowledge of the canals, including the possibility of a visit to the Kings Cross London Canal Museum on our longer tours.

The chance to take a private trip right in the middle of London can be well worth it especially in these strange times when we still need to be wary of mixing in crowds or queues.

Seating is around a table in the front deck area of Lady A for plenty of fresh air, which is open sided but with a permanent roof overhead. Side curtains keep the weather at bay but it’s much nicer to enjoy the open air views by wearing suitable warm clothing.

We open year round subject to weather and winter maintenance breaks.

I look forward to welcoming you aboard.

Disability Access Information

Lady A welcomes everyone but like all narrowboats the traditional design means there are four steep stairs from the deck level into the cabin so whilst access to the mooring is available for all, its not possible to accommodate those who are unable to walk a few steps including the entrance stairs.
