Tinsley Flight Lock: passage information
Booking requirements
- Passage must be booked at least 24 hours in advance by calling the Customer Service Team at 0303 040 4040 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm).
- Lock keepers will confirm the passage time, as it takes approximately four hours to navigate the flight.
- Visitor moorings in Victoria Quays are managed by Calder Valley Marine
Operating hours
- Summer (1 April – 30 September): Monday to Sunday, 8am - 5pm
- Winter (1 October – 31 March): Monday to Sunday, 8am - 4pm
- Closed on: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day
Passage restrictions
- The Tinsley Flight passage begins at Holmes Lock.
- Without a booking, vessels cannot progress past Holmes Lock.
Recommended mooring locations: Eastwood Lock or Ickles Lock.
