The charity making life better by water

View along the canal to The Bratch

The Bratch

The Bratch is the perfect spot for a family afternoon of exploring the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal's history and local wildlife. Take a walk along the towpath and admire the historic bridge and Bratch pumping station, or spot the locks, originally built as a staircase.

Like your wildlife? Follow the exciting bat trail, and be sure to keep an eye out for some unusual canal natural residents. If you look carefully you might even spot an otter.
