Lock keepers on duty

Our small army of volunteer lock keepers have the experience to make sure you get through the lock flight quickly and easily while conserving the water during your passage. They're on duty:

Summer hours - 8am till 2 pm

Winter hours - 8am till 1pm.

Lock opening times

Passages start at Lock 44 daily between:
1 October to 31 March	8am – 1pm	Last boat in 1pm

Please note: no mooring between locks 44 and 29.

Caen Hill Marina at the bottom of the flight near Foxhangers, has a selection of boating facilities and services.
