Following the recent liquidation of Sherborne Wharf Limited, responsibility for the site has now reverted to the Canal & River Trust.
We understand that this change creates uncertainty for those currently moored at the Wharf and we want to share with you the interim arrangements, what we need from boaters, and how we will keep you updated as the review progresses. Please read our FAQ's for more information on this.
With the liquidation of Sherborne Wharf Limited, we have now resumed responsibility for the site. We are now carrying out a full review of the existing mooring arrangements, the site infrastructure and the day‑to‑day management requirements.
At this stage, long‑term arrangements and timescales cannot yet be confirmed. We will continue to share updates approximately every three weeks, or sooner if significant developments occur.
