We are seeking your views and suggestions on how we can improve the canalside.

We are currently seeking to improve the following five areas:

  • Spikes Bridge Park
  • Bankside
  • Southall Recreation Ground
  • Havelock Road Canalside Park
  • Glade Lane Canalside Park and Norwood Top Lock

How can we create more special canal places in Southall?

We are investigating opportunities and innovative ways to enable:

  • Creating attractive and inviting spaces on and around the canal
  • Linking the canal from nearby areas
  • Improving the environment
  • Providing opportunities to enjoy the canal and connect with the water and nature
  • Providing opportunities to connect with others and enjoy family time outdoors
  • Provide nice places to wander, dwell, exercise
  • Link community culture and the canal

Have your say

Please give us your views by completing our short online survey. You can give us your opinion about just one area or for all five, it’s up to you. You might live or work in Southall, or you may use the canal towpaths for walking or cycling, or may live on a canal boat. However you use or would like to use the canal and towpaths we want to hear from you.

The online survey will close on 28 February 2021.
