Join Luke ('the Whittling Nurse') for this one day workshop for beginners, introducing the craft of whittling. The workshop will start with a walk-and-talk section through the woodland walk which will cover all aspects of foraging.
Participants will then return to the Learning Centre where they will be able to view a selection of whittled pieces and designs produced by the workshop lead. Each participant will then choose, from a small selection of seasoned woods, a piece that they will be working on to make a wand.
Participants will go home at the end of the day with a whittled wand of their own design.
