Your impact

By fundraising for us you're helping nature to flourish and preserving the heritage of our canals in the face of climate change.

From helping us fight plastic pollution to protecting the future of our historic 2,000-mile-long network, the money you raise will do so much for our canals and rivers, for the communities who enjoy them, and for the wildlife that depends on them.

Together, we can make life better by water.

£500 protects our heritage

Your fundraising could help buy 30 tins of specialist paint to maintain and protect our industrial heritage of 1,580 locks, many of which are over 200 years old, and ensure their long-term survival for future generations to enjoy.

£1,000 connects communities

The money you raise could help fund a community canal art project, enabling people to bring their local canal to life with images and designs that reflect what's important to them.

£3,000 restores wildlife

Your fundraising could help create 100m of canalside water vole habitats to provide much needed shelter for this fascinating waterway mammal, whose population has fallen by 95% since the 1970s.
