Description
The gates at Acton's lock have deteriorated in recent months and they are losing severe amounts of water which is worsened during the summer months.
Therefore the Trust will be doing an emergency dry measure of Acton's lock gates on 30 May. The navigation will be restricted from 7.30am until midday.
These inspections are in advance of carrying out a top gate replacement which is scheduled to be completed by end of July 2018 and will entail a 2 day stoppage, further details to be posted.
