Fallen Tree Between Bridge 77 & Bridge 78
A large tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation and towpath, between Bridge 77, Holinwood Avenue Road Bridge and Bridge 78, Wrigley Head Bridge on the Rochdale Canal. Due to the size and position of the tree we need to instruct our specialist contractor to assist with the removal.
At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as adverse weather conditions from Storm Claudia are impacting our waterways across the North West and causing delays.
We will provide a further update on or before Monday, 17 November.
