Maintenance works will be carried out by third-party contractors on Bridge 23B. These works involve rope access from the bridge deck to replace and tighten missing bolts and steel members, as well as the removal of spoil from the canal banks.
The canal and towpath will remain open throughout the duration of the works. Barriers, signage, and banksmen will be in place to manage traffic. Work will be paused as necessary to allow the safe passage of traffic.
Please follow all directions given by signage and banksmen for your safety.
