Navigation remains restricted at Lock 86 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a fault with one of the lock gate gears.
Navigation will remain open for narrow boats only using the towpath side gate only.
Specialist contractors have been instructed, at present, we are unable to confirm when the contractors will be on site due to high volume of work.
An update will be provided on or before Friday 24 October.

Whilst our local team is currently planning of method of repair, navigation will remain, however should you notice any further changes please contact our Customer Support Team.
An update will be provided Thursday 9 October.
