Canal & River Trust will be holding an angling event on Wednesday, 1 October on the Weaver Navigation. This event will be taking place at Anderton Boat Lift from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
While the event is taking place, mooring and navigation restriction will be in place.
We ask all boaters to slow down when approaching the area and be aware of other canal users.
The towpath will remain open although we anticipate that it will be busier than usual, so please exercise caution when walking through the area in which the event is taking place.
