Kings Road Lock is currently subject to restricted operation due to a mechanical fault: the fork has become detached from the stalk on the sluice mechanism.
A team of divers will be on site on Wednesday 17th September to carry out an inspection and assess the scope of repairs required to the damaged sluice.
Assisted passage will be available on Friday 12th , Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th between the hours of 10:00 and 15:00.
A further update will be issued by Thursday 18th September once the inspection findings have been reviewed.

Kings Road Lock is currently closed due to damage to an upstream sluice.
For safety reasons, navigation through the lock is not possible while investigation works are carried out. Our engineers are due to attend site and we will provide an update by Monday 15th September.
