The towpath between Willeymoor Lock Footbridge and Bridge 26, Jacksons bridge on the Llangollen canal remains closed due to a wind blown tree at Povey's Lock.
A specialist team have been instructed to remove a hornet's nest found in the tree, but have unfortunately have been delayed in attending site.
A further update will be provided Wednesday 17 September.

The towpath between Willeymoor Lock Footbridge and Bridge 26, Jacksons bridge on the Llangollen canal is closed due to a wind blown tree at Povey's Lock
The team have attended site, however due to an active hornet nest the works to remove the tree have been referred to a specialist team.
We will provide an update on or before Friday 12 September.
