A walking event, organised by Threshold Sports (on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support), is planned for Saturday 20 September on the New Mainline.
Walkers will use a section of towpath between Lee Bridge and Salvage Turn Bridge. The event will start and finish at Centenary Square.
Around 1000 people are expected to take part and they will be on the towpath between 10am and 3pm.
