We are continuing to provide assisted passage for wide beam boats through Lock 16 at Stoke Bruerne.
Please provide 24 hours' notice of your passage by calling the East Midlands customer support team on 0303 040 4040 between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

There is an issue with the towpath top gate at Lock 16 which means it cannot be operated.
This means widebeam craft cannot use the lock.
We plan to review this issue tomorrow during the stoppage at Lock 18.
We will update this notice on Thursday 14th August with further information.
