Work is continuing at Lock Cottage, Shardlow Lock 2. Please be aware of increased and activity and approach with care.

The private owners of the Lock Cottage at Shardlow Lock 2 https://w3w.co/crusaders.classic.snips are having a new rear 2 storey extension built which is directly adjacent to the offside top gate quadrant. Please be aware that an encapsulated scaffolding will be required at a later stage of the build.
Anyone operating the Lock should be aware of increased activity. The contractors have been instructed to provide unhindered safe passage at all times.
