Please be advised that third-party contractors will be installing scaffolding to the deck of Brick Kiln Bridge to facilitate essential structural repairs. As part of these works, a pontoon will be positioned in the canal beneath the bridge to provide access for the repair team.
The canal will remain open during this period. The pontoon will be repositioned as needed to ensure the safe passage of boats through the bridge.
Signage will be placed along the route to inform both canal and towpath users, and banksmen will be on site to assist with safe movement through the area.
We kindly ask all customers to take extra care when navigating this section and to follow any instructions provided on site.
