We are pleased to welcome a walking event, organised by Diabetes UK between 10.00 and 17.00 on Sunday 19 October.
The event will use a section of towpath between Lock 92, Castlefield Lock and Lock 89, Tib Lock on the Rochdale Canal.
Navigation and towpath will remain open, around 1200 people are expected to take part in this event. We ask customers to exercise with caution when walking through the area in which the event is taking place.
We politely request all customer to approach the area with caution, listen to the organisers onsite and to take note of any signage installed onsite.
