Update 7 July 2025, 3:13pm

The Environment Agency has advised that, because of the desilting work at Torskey and dry weather, there will be a continued increase to pumping beyond 80 thousand cubic metres a day.

Please proceed with care and follow advice from lock keepers on site.

Those who are moored in this area, please check your boat lines regularly to make sure your boat is secured.

This will be for at least another few weeks and we will update this notice by Thursday 31st July or sooner if we have more information.

Update 25 June 2025, 2:49pm

We have not been informed of any reduction in the pumping and so this advisory notice remains in place.
