An ultra-marathon, organised by Canalrace C.I.C. is taking place between 6am Saturday 24th May and 3:30pm on Monday 26th May on the Grand Union Canal, but also along small section of the Paddington Arm, Digbeth Branch, Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, and the New Mainline.
The route will start in Little Venice and finish at Gas Street Basin. This notice covers the route from Little Venice on the Paddington Arm, onto the Grand Union Canal. The towpath will remain open but there might be slight delays. Please follow any safety advice from event stewards and proceed with care.
