Due to a lack of forecasted rain, we have been able to reopen the floodgates at the following sites: The following flood gates / locks are closed:

Ledgard Flood Gate is closed but user operable. Water levels at Brighouse should now have returned to normal

With recent rainfall, river levels have risen. All the flood gates on the Calder and Hebble are closed.

Flood locks are passable and are operational by boaters. River levels are being closely monitored and flood gates will be reopened when river levels allow. Please check the Strong Stream Warning board and marker at each flood lock before entering the river section of navigation.
