The towpath remains closed just above Bridge 6 to Bridge 9.The Earth Structures team have been out and have advised on the scope for repairs. Works will take place within this year. We haven't received a more specific timeframe for when works can begin yet, but we'll update this notice as soon as we receive this information.The local team are continuing to monitor the slip for movement. We kindly remind boaters to take care if passing through this section.

A Crack has appeared in the towpath. This requires further investigation from local engineers to assess towpath safety. We ask that boaters do not moor up along here and take extra care when passing through.
