Please be advised the towpath remains closed between Bridge 101 and Lock 52, Blackburn on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a third party owned collapsed wall. Our local team are continuing to liaise with the council for further updates. In the interest of public safety, the towpath will remain closed until further notice. Whilst the canal will be kept open to navigation, we politely request all boating customers to approach the area with caution.

An update will be provided by Friday 29 August.

Please be advised the towpath remains closed between Bridge 101 and Lock 52, Blackburn on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a third party owned collapsed wall.

Our local team are continuing to liaise with the council for further updates. In the interest of public safety, the towpath will remain closed until further notice.

Whilst the canal will be kept open to navigation, we politely request all boating customers to approach the area with caution.

An update will be provided by Thursday 29 May.
