I work with young refugees and my partner Alex is a deputy manager for a company selling electrical equipment. We've only just recently moved to live in this area in Birmingham, but we discovered the canal quite soon after moving in.
I walk to work every day along the canal, it's so much nicer than getting in the car and sitting in traffic. And the scenery is much better than walking along the main road - it's just like being in the countryside.
It's Bank Holiday Monday, so neither of us has to travel to work today, but we're still here on the canal, just because it's nice here.
