The former dock of Ellesmere Port in Cheshire is now home to the National Waterways Museum.
The site has warehouses, dock offices, locks, canal basins, stables, a collection of historic boats, an archive, a blacksmiths forge and a pump house full of steam powered engines. The site is largely untouched, there is even a row of period decorated cottages called Porter's Row.
