National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port

The former dock of Ellesmere Port in Cheshire is now home to the National Waterways Museum.

The site has warehouses, dock offices, locks, canal basins, stables, a collection of historic boats, an archive, a blacksmiths forge and a pump house full of steam powered engines. The site is largely untouched, there is even a row of period decorated cottages called Porter's Row.
