The Canal Museum shop café is the place to head for a full selection of fresh home-made sandwiches, wraps, soups, bakes and cakes, along with your favourite beverages and ice creams. We can cater for a range of diets; vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free alternatives available on request. Just ask one of our team.

Are you a coffee lover? Sit in our comfy sofa area and reconnect with your friends for a social catch up whilst being immersed in our unique canalside setting.

In the summer, why not sit outside and simply enjoy watching the world go by or bring a picnic and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Gift shop

Who doesn’t love picking up a souvenir? Visit the museum shop, packed with locally sourced gifts and souvenirs, from pocket money treats to stunning painted canal ware. We even have rugs for that picnic on the banks of the canal, and nets for pond dipping. You will also find one of the best collections of a selection of specialist canal books, many local in the country, along with waterway guides and maps.
