The walk, will be led by volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area. Please join us for a fun leisurely walk along the canal. You'll learn a lot and meet new people!
The meeting point will be the wooden steps opposite entrance to Canary Wharf tube station west exit/Jubilee Plaza.
We will finish close to Mile End tube station. You can use the tube to move on or visit a historic traditional London pub in Mile End park (self-funded).
The walk is accessible. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining. However with all the fallen leaves the tow path (even if it is not raining) it can be muddy/slippy so stout shoes are really required (stronger than recommended).
