Start point: The Barge Inn, Honeystreet, Pewsey, Wiltshire. SN9 5PS
Enter the canal at the Barge Inn and head East passing the pub. This route will take you through open countryside and chalk downland.
At about four miles you'll pass Pewsey Wharf, where there's a pub and a nice picnic spot.
As you come to Wootton Rivers pass under the bridge and then paddle almost as far as the lock and get out of the canal on the right hand side.
