Nestled on the Shropshire Union Canal, the market town of Nantwich was once famous for the production of salt. Today, it's a great place for country walks and spotting wildlife, with lots of pubs and cafes in the centre of this pretty little town.

Visit Nantwich Canal Centre or for something different try a visit to nearby Hack Green Nuclear Bunker.

But we're sure you'll definitely want to make your way up to the Nantwich Aqueduct for a selfie.

By car - car parking is available in Nantwich town centre (5 mins walk to canal)

By boat - there are some boaters facilities near and at our local Nantwich moorings
