The charity making life better by water

Boat passes over a small aqueduct with moored narrowboats in the distance

Nantwich

Nestled on the Shropshire Union Canal, the market town of Nantwich was once famous for the production of salt. Today, it's a great place for country walks and spotting wildlife, with plenty of pubs, shops, and cafes in the centre of this idyllic town with its iconic aqueduct.

Visit the Nantwich Canal Centre to find out more about boat hire, or enjoy a walk to nearby Hack Green Nuclear Bunker, hidden in the Cheshire countryside.
