Description
Improvement works are to take place to Bridge 91A which crosses the entrance to Braunston Marina between 22nd April 2025 commencing at 12 noon and Friday 30th May 2025 completing at 5 pm.
The works will involve repairing and replacing the bricks on the north elevation and improving the approach ramps and gradients to the bridge. To keep members of the public safe, the contractor needs to close the towpath between Bridge 91A and Butcher's Bridge 1.
A towpath diversion will be set up which will involve taking people around the back of the Stop House, through Braunston Marina, onto the pavement next to the A45, onto Brindley Quays and back onto the towpath at Butcher's Bridge. The owners of any boats moored between Bridge 1 and Bridge 91A will still be able to access their boats from Bridge 1, however, access over Bridge 91A will not be possible.
Please beware of increased activity in the area and follow the towpath diversions on site.
