Sileby Lock 49 - River Soar

To clarify, following yesterday's notice, the offside gate can't be used because the damaged ground paddle has partially disappeared into the river and is currently impeding its operation.

Description

The offside ground paddle at Sileby Lock 49 on the River Soar is damaged.

This means that the offside lock gate is no longer operational and widebeam boats will not be able to pass through the lock until repairs have taken place.

We do not currently have a timescale for this repair but we will update this notice as soon as more information is available.
