We have an issue with the gearing on the outer tail gate which open and closes the gate has bent and is stuck in a closed position at Tuel Lane Lock.
Due to the restricted space that this issue has caused, it is only accessible for narrow boats under the limit (maximum 60ft) of the inner gates to travel through.
Unfortunately, Wide Beam barges are unable to transit the lock until the issue is resolved.
It may take a little more time to travel through the lock, please follow any instructions given by staff and volunteers.
