The completion date has been revised to 27th June due to lead time on obtaining some of the materials.

Description

Please be aware that works will take place to improve the informal access from Radford Road to the Grand Union Canal towpath. The project aims to construct a formal ramped access, ensuring year-round accessibility for all users.

Contractors will carry out the construction, which is scheduled to begin the week commencing 14th April 2025, with an anticipated completion date of 20th June 2025. The works are expected to take approximately 10 weeks.

During this period, the public will be safely marshalled through the works area along the towpath. We recommend exiting the towpath prior to the works zone to maintain access to Radford Road. Appropriate signage will be placed to guide users.

Please note that navigation along the towpath will remain open throughout the duration of the works.
