Description
Dredging works will be carried out on the Ashby Canal at various locations between Sutton Cheney, Bridge 34, and Market Bosworth, Bridge 42, between 27th February and 20th May.
The dredgings will be unloaded from hoppers into a field on the towpath side between Bridge 37 and Bridge 38. The works include installation of 150 metre of bank protection to the north of Bridge 35 where dredgings will be used for backfill.
Delays of up to one hour can be expected when dredging is in progress at bridge holes. We will try to minimise any inconvenience as far as practicable. Please approach working areas slowly and with caution and following any guidance from staff on site.
