The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct works have been completed ahead of schedule.
This means the navigation is no longer closed to facilitate these works.

The aqueduct navigation is closed from 9am until 3pm whilst the team carry out repairs to the handrails.
Navigation will be open from 3pm until 9am the following day when works commence. Weekends will be open for navigation, but in the event of works taking longer than planned and the team working overtime, these hours may apply to weekends, too.
