The large low level tree stump overhanging the towpath between bridge 15 and 15A, on the Ashby Canal has now been cleared. Towpath users can proceed as normal.

Description
There is a large low level tree stump overhanging the towpath between bridge 15 and 15A, near the pipe bridge on the Ashby canal.
Towpath users are advised to take extra care when walking this section of the towpath.
Contractors are being arranged to cut back the tree stump and we will update the website with more information by Monday 22nd January.
