From 1st December 2022 to 19th March 2023 Kirkstall to Newlay Locks (7-13) can be booked with a minimum of 72 hours notice.

Kirkstall to Newlay Locks -

Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: Up direction bookings will be 09:00 & 13:00 slot and down direction will be 11:00 slot

Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday: Up direction bookings will be 11:00 slot and down direction will be 09:00 & 13:00 slot.

To discuss your booking, will be late arriving, or unable to make your journey please call 03030 404040 to notify the lock keeper or please phone 0800 47 999 47 on a weekend.

Please be advised that all the above locks will be closed to passage on the 25th & 26th December 2022 and the 1st of January 2023..

Description

Through the 2022/2023 winter season, Newlay, Forge & Kirkstall locks will be available for self-operation between the hours of 08:00 and 15:00 daily. However, there will be roving lock keepers between Leeds & Newlay to offer assistance through the locks if required.

Please note that the locks will padlocked at 15:00 every evening.
