Repairs to the highway bridge are nearing completion, however the towpath access ramp and the towpath beneath the bridge will remain closed until 29 September.
Signage and barriers are in place.
Whilst the canal will remain open to navigation, we politely request all customers to approach the bridge with caution and be prepared to stop to allow contractors and equipment to move out of the way.

Please be advised repairs to the A527 highway bridge are taking longer than planned and the towpath beneath the bridge will remain closed until August 18th.
Although the navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to wait for a short time if necessary whilst equipment is moved out of the way.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.

Please be advised repairs to the A527 highway bridge are taking longer than planned and the towpath beneath the bridge will remain closed until July 21st. The access onto the towpath from Park Lane will be closed until September 1st.
Although the navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to wait for a short time if necessary whilst equipment is moved out of the way.

Please be advised due to the ongoing repairs to the A527 highway bridge, the towpath beneath the bridge will remain closed until June 23rd. The access onto the towpath from Park Lane will also be closed from June 5th. Barriers and a diversion route will be in place.

Please be advised that following some delays, the bridge repairs are now expected to continue until mid-May. The towpath will remain closed and a diversion route will be in place.
