Due to recent rainfall, this section is now navigable again between Denford and Froghall. Hazelhurst Locks and the section by Bridge 37 remain closed for navigation until March 2023.

Please be advised that the section from Hazelhurst to Froghall Basin will remain shut to manage water resources and to protect flows to the Trent & Mersey.
We will be reviewing this again on 3nd November, so please look out for a further update before then.
