North Yorkshire County Council have informed that the bridge is still needing further repairs and is unable to swing.
For details of available headroom skippers should contact the bridge operator on 01757 703692 before planning passage.
We will update this notice when we have information from the council.

We have been updated by North Yorkshire County Council and apologies that the bridge is still unable to swing.
The previous repairs did not work, the next date that repairs wll be attempted is 25th and 26th April and then on the 4th May there will be a total road closure to hopefully swing the bridge and fine tune the repairs.
As before, vessels can pass under the bypass bridge as long as no swing is required.

We have been updated by North Yorkshire County Council that Selby Bypass Swingbridge is still non-operational. Further work on the 13.04.22 will hopefully resolve the issues that we have been experiencing.
Vessels can pass as long as no swing is required.

We have been updated by North Yorkshire County Council that the Selby Bypass Swingbridge is still not able to swing due to mechanical issues.
Any vessel not requiring a swing can pass. For details of available headroom skippers should contact the bridge operator on 01757 703692 before planning passage.
