North Yorkshire County Council have informed that the bridge is still needing further repairs and is unable to swing.
For details of available headroom skippers should contact the bridge operator on 01757 703692 before planning passage.
We will update this notice when we have information from the council.

We have been advised by North Yorkshire County Council that the Selby Bypass Swingbridge is not able to swing due to mechanical issues. Any vessel not requiring a swing can pass. For details of available headroom skippers should contact the bridge operator on 01757 703692 before planning passage. Contractors will be bringing parts and undertaking test swings on March 1st. North Yorkshire County Council will update us once the repairs are completed.
