Lock 19, Shadehouse Lock to Lock 20, Woodend Lock, Trent & Mersey Canal

The navigation and towpath will remain open. Works associated with the construction of the new highspeed railway, HS2, are taking place in this area, including the cutting of vegetation. Customers may be asked to wait for a short while before passing through this area when works are being carried out. This may be up to 5 minutes wait on the towpath and 20 minutes in the canal.
