Thanks to the hard work of the Customer Operations team this tree has now been removed and navigation can be resumed.
Please be advised that due to Storm Ciara, navigation is not possible on the canal between the two downstream bridges below Stourton Junction. This is due to an extremely large tree blocking the entire navigation. The duty officer has made a risk assessment and along with deteriorating weather conditions has deemed the tree work to dangerous to currently undertake. A review of the weather conditions will be made at first light on the 10/02/2020 and if safe to do so Tree work will be undertaken ASAP.
