Due to the works currently taking place at Holme Lock, it does mean we are currently operating the lock on only one lock gate.
This means there is a restriction for any boat over 14ft 6.
Please follow advice on site and we apologise for any inconvenience which may be caused.

Due to essential safety improvement works to replace life expired equipment movement through Lock 8, Holme Lock is now restricted.
Boaters will only be able to travel through the lock between the hours of 12:00 and 13:00 Monday – Friday.
The Lock will be inoperable over the weekend.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate our customers patience during this time.
