A closure is required to carry out the following essential repairs.

At Lock 2: Grouting of the lock chamber to reduce leakage.

At Lock 3: Replacement of the bottom gate together with brickwork, stonework and other repairs to reduce leakage.

After local consultation the works at both locks will be carried out at the same time to minimise the overall inconvenience to customers.
