Towpath Reopened: Cottingwith Lock 9 to Canal Lane
The fallen tree that was blocking the towpath between Cottingwith Lock 9 and Canal Lane has now been removed by third-party contractors. The towpath is now open as normal.

Towpath Closure: Cottingwith Lock 9 to Canal Lane The towpath between Cottingwith Lock 9 and Canal Lane is currently closed due to a fallen tree blocking the path. We have requested third-party contractors to carry out the removal. An update will be provided as soon as the tree has been cleared and the towpath is safe to reopen.
