Third-party contractors will be undertaking works to construct a new outfall on the offside of the canal, between Brick Kiln Bridge and Wall End Bridge.
Navigation will remain open during the works. However, a porta dam will be installed in the canal, which will slightly reduce the navigation width.
Signage will be in place along the canal and towpath to inform and guide users through the area. We kindly ask all customers and visitors to take extra care when navigating or walking through this section of the canal.
