Third-party contractors will be onsite at Lock 58, Top Lock, Johnsons Hillock on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to carry out repairs to a leaking water main in the deck of the lock footbridge.
We would ask all customers to approach the area with caution and use the alternative sign posted route, listening to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site.
Boaters may be asked to wait for a short period of time whilst certain operations are carried out.
