UKPN have instructed a Third Party to undertake a survey through service area within Salmon Lane bridge. A portable scaffold is required to be used which will be blocking the Towpath under the bridge. The Temporary Towpath closure will only be required during the hours of 9am-4pm. Traffic/ Person Marshalls will be allocated to each end of the closure. Tower Hamlets Highways have been notified of the diversion and closure signage and will require Highways minor permitting. One day is required, I have added an additional 1 day for contingency only.
The Temporary Towpath closure will only be required during the daylight hours of 9am-4pm. Traffic/ Person Marshalls will be allocated to each end of the closure. Towpath closure diversion will be fully signed and is suitable for Pedestrians, Cyclists, Wheelchairs, Pushchairs. Any mooring boats will be notified on the day and assistance will in place to assist with access at the Towpath closure end. Attached to this request is the Towpath Diversion map. A copy will be laminated and positioned at each end of the closure 7 days in advance.
